This article deals with how the Christian and Muslim relations are framed in a specific setting. More specifically, based on ten-month fieldwork in the West Bank and a particular focus on the District of Bethlehem, the author examines how the Christians are vulnerable to the structural problems of Palestine and its occupation in a context that goes beyond sectarian-based approaches. The author argues that the Christian Palestinians are persistent to national unity and sectarian harmony against many odds.
