In the late 19th century, Cyril II as the Patriarche of Jerusalem played an important role in the unification of the Orthodox Partiarchate in the Holy Land. This article delves into this critical period by examining the tranjactory of the various Christian denominations as well as on the election of Cyril II, his interactions with the Christian denominations, his legacy as well as its implications in the present day.
