A detailed overview of the Christians in Jordan can be found here, as the position of Arab Christians and the Christian Churches in the Hashemite kingdom is thorough examined. Although small in size due to emigration weaking their impact, Christians retain a considerable presence in the political, social and cultural fields. The Christians' role within the Hashemite State is analysed in the article, focusing on the religious community institutions and the history, the political guarantees and the relative stability it enjoys in the contemporary era.
