Finding a Platform: Studying the Copts in the 19th and 20th Centuries

This article provides a review on the various discplines and theoratical frameworks that have studied the Coptic community of Egypt in the 19th and 20th centuries. Despite the fact that the Arab speaking Christian community has transitioned from a national to an international presence, the author claims that it has 'not really entered the Middle Eastern or Christianity studies, amongst others'.
