This paper seeks to analyse the different political attitudes of Syrian Christians towards the 2011 Syrian uprising through its various phases and explore the main challenges that have shaped these attitudes and the policies that could be adopted by local and external actors in order to address them. The research relied on more than 20 semi-structured interviews with Syrian Christians, both religious and lay, from different Syrian cities: Damascus, Aleppo, Homs, Latakia, and Al-Qamishli during the period from 2016 to 2018.
