This article starts by describing the developments in the Middle East from beginning of Christianity to the present day, while presenting the situation of Christians in each period and the attitudes towards them. Then, it categorized the Christian attitudes towards Islam and the Muslim majority, before examining some issues that are common between Middle Eastern Christians and the particular challenges Christians face according to the country of residence. In the end it attempts to answer some questions regarding the future of Christians in the region.
