Chaldeans, Assyrians, Syriacs, Chaldo-Assyrians in Iraq speak the same language, while the actual identity of these people is a matter of debate, as some argue that these are all one group of people and others suppose that they are multiple groups of people with different identities. The writer attempts to trace the roots of Christian groups in Iraq, explicate their relationships, present their various arguments, and propose his own opinion and conclusion on the issue.
