The article examines the position that Christians hold in the country, in the light of the dilemmas they face in times of crisis, starting from the establishment of Modern Syria to the first years of the civil war. The situation during the fog of war during the initial stages of the Arab Uprising put the Christian population in Syria in a position that it had to handle carefully its relations both with the regime and the rebel forces.
