The authors use the proportional decline of historic Christian communities in the Middle East as a starting point to discuss the future trends of Christians in the Middle East and their relationship with global Christianity as a whole. To tackle these developments, they advocate for freedom for all religious minorities in countries experiencing high restrictions on religion and promote interfaith dialogue where the ties with fellow religionists will be strengthened.
